Chef & proprietor Angelo Dondi has been at this Victorian canopied, double-fronted shop in the main parade for 25 years.
Angelo has built up a fine reputation for stocking a wide range of artisan British and Continental foods. Fresh baguettes, pastries and pies are baked on the premises several times a day.
An Italian Aladdin’s Cave of goodies, which include a very large selection of fresh olives, a fine array of, roasted vegetables, lasagne, cannelloni, meat balls, fresh pasta and sauces; these are all prepared on the premises.
The large selection of cheese includes Colston Bassett Stilton, Quickes and Montgomery Farmhouse Cheddars.
A large variety of other foods include Patchwork pâtes, a complete range of Wilkin & Sons Tiptree jams and marmalades, home cooked meats, cured meats, olive oils, balsamic and wine vinegars, salami and salads.
Angelo’s also provide al fresco catering with a difference and a hamper service. |

Angelos is a beautiful shop with very friendly staff that do everything to make sure you are happy. They also do special catering for any event.
