M Mottershead is a family run business specialising in high quality locally sourced meat and fine foods. A warm welcome is always guaranteed with a professional and personal service. Many home made products are available including award winning sausage, hand made by our own skilled butchers, beef, pork and lamb burgers-great for a bbq, and home cooked roast pork, beef, ham and turkey.
BBQs are a speciality with numerous variations and flavoured kebabs, minted lamb cutlets, steak in a Caribbean marinade, orange and basil pork escallops and much more available all year round. We cure our own bacon to give a great traditional flavour. There is a wide selection of speciality cheeses including brie de Meaux, Appleby Cheshire and organic cheddar.
Seasonal products are a speciality from Christmas fayre-free range geese, traditional barn reared turkeys and local game. A long with all this we can provide you with a full range of Tracklements condiments, chutneys, preserves and jams, home made cakes, Taylor’s coffee and many specialist salamis and Parma ham. |
